Do you want to take your studies on the road? The Banking and Finance International Study Program is an exciting way to experience and explore how culture affects banking and finance practices.

Eligible students can study in the summer semester, completing theoretical workshops and modules in November and December, and then take off on a three-week study program across Europe in January, including classes at the Monash University Centre in Prato, Italy.

The 2017-2018 summer semester program will travel to Rome and Prato in Italy, Basel in Switzerland, Frankfurt in Germany, Amsterdam in the Netherlands and London in the UK, visiting organisations such as the Bank for International Settlements, Frankfurt Stock Exchange and Helaba Bank in Frankfurt, National Australia Bank and PricewaterhouseCoopers in London among others. You will also have ample time to appreciate the various cultures across Europe and see the major sights.

Approximate costs for the overseas component of the program are expected to be AUD$8,000 (including all travel and accommodation costs, and breakfast daily but not including other meals and spending money), however, every student accepted into the program has the potential to qualify for a faculty grant of AUD$1,000. Standard unit fees will apply and are in addition to the travel cost.

You can apply for both the accounting and the banking & finance programs but you will only be accepted into one of the programs/units.
