The main Monash-wide selection round, opens on 1 June and closes on 31 October each year. A second, annual mid-year round opens on 1 November and closes on 31 May. As with all our scholarship opportunities, eligibility criteria applies.
Remember that you should initiate the process to obtain an invitation not less than four weeks prior to the date on which you expect to submit your application

Monash Business School Postgraduate Research Scholarship; Stipend (living allowance) or Tuition Scholarship
Monash Business School Postgraduate Research Scholarships are offered each year to eligible candidates. Approximately 25 scholarships are available each year. A stipend scholarship is valued at $26,288 p/a (2016 rate). A tuition scholarship is valued at $28,100 p/a (2016 rate).
Each year, up to three awards will be offered to full-time PhD candidates conducting research in any of the business disciplines. This three-year scholarship is valued at $10,000 p/a.
There are up to ten Deans Excellence Awards, each valued at $5,010 p/a( 2016 rate) are available to the top ten applicants of each year. These awards may be held for a research master's for up to two years and for each PhD up to three years.
Please note that these scholarship do not cover the cost of compulsory Overseas Student Health Cover. International students who are only awarded a Monash Business School Scholarship will be required to purchase the compulsory Overseas Student Health Cover themselves.
The Research Training Scheme (RTS) covers research course fees for Australian or New Zealand citizens and Australian permanent residents.

The China Scholarship Council (CSC) and Monash University have a collaborative scholarship program to allow Chinese candidates to engage in high level research at Monash.
Each year eligible candidates will be awarded scholarships, which cover tuition fees, a living allowance for up to three years in the first instance, Overseas Student Health Cover, visa application fees and the cost of a return air fare between Australia and China.
Applications for the CSC are due to be submitted to Monash by the 16th of January 2016. You should initiate the process to obtain an invitation not less than four (4) weeks prior to the date on which you expect to submit your application.

Please note, If you also wish to be considered for other competitive, merit-based Monash University Graduate Research Scholarship simply indicate this on your Expression of Interest form. There is no need to fill out a separate Expression of Interest for this. However note that your research proposal should align to one of the Monash Business School research themes and formatted according to information in this link.
