New scholarship opportunity for future-focused MBA student

Monash Business School is building on its partnership with the Future Business Council through a new scholarship for Monash MBA students, the LEE Future Business Council Scholarship.

Awarded by the School’s Leadership and Executive Education (LEE) team, the scholarship is designed to encourage and support a future-focused Australian in their pursuit of the Monash MBA.

“The partnership between Monash Business School and the Future Business Council (FBC) came to be because of our mutual commitment to future business,” says Professor Richard Hall, Deputy Dean of Leadership and Executive Education.

The sponsorship stems from our commitment to support innovative, sustainable and resilient businesses that will define our future economy.

Valued at $16,000, the LEE Future Business Council Scholarship will provide an MBA student with a fee reduction, as well as the responsibility and honour to serve on the FBC Board.

The successful applicant will serve as a co-opted committee member during their first year as an MBA student. In their second year, they will be part of the team as a director, explains FBC Director Tom Quinn.

“We are always looking for great talent. Someone who displays true leadership potential and who is able to articulate a compelling vision for Australia as a hub for global business innovation. And while doing so, supports a sustainable and prosperous future,” he concludes.
